"Excellent hotel. Amazing staff. We recently stayed here as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). From check in to check out we had such a great time. Hotel was spotless and food was fabulous. Everything you need in the room. The swimming pool is amazing with a big kids pool which ours loved. What really stood out about our stay was the staff. They couldn't do enough for us. They were so friendly and did everything they could to make our stay as great as it was. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are really looking forward to going back soon"
"Relaxing, high quality and very reasonable rates in the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel. We had a lovely relaxing stay in the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel. The facilities were great and the food was high quality. The staff were so friendly despite the extra pressures they worked under during the pandemic. We enjoyed the swimming pool which was excellently maintained and numbers limited with a booking system in place. We got a great deal which included an evening meal and we were very impressed with the standard of the food. The hotel is central, close to the castle and centre with lovely riverside walks which we enjoyed before our hearty breakfast each morning. It was a welcome and refreshing break away. I would recommend highly.
"One of the best hotels I’ve been to! Top class - from the moment we arrived we were greeted with the best service! Afternoon tea was gorgeous, dinner fab and breakfast had so many different options to suit everyone! The room was clean and spacious. We felt so at ease in the hotel restaurant/bar/lobby during these worrying times as everyone was adhering to government guidelines 100%. The staff really made our stay 5/5 stars for me, they were all so friendly and efficient but especially Niamh - she looked after us at dinner and I have to say I’ve NEVER had such impeccable service in a hotel, she was bubbly, friendly, welcoming, so efficient and I could tell she genuinely loves what she does.. she is a real credit to the hotel, we will definitely be back, thank you Niamh and all of the staff"

"I've stayed at the Kilkenny Ormonde on a few occasions and have always found the staff to be extremely helpful and very friendly. Its a beautiful hotel with fab decor and spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast served in the morning with plenty to choose from. Also a great sized pool for both kids and adults to enjoy. Perfectly located within walking distance to all the main streets and attractions. I could not recommend this hotel enough. 5 stars ***** will definitely be back."
"Love this hotel! Been coming here every month for the last four or more years for a one night break to chill out! Only live half an hour away but love it! Pool and spa treatments are great! Meals are lovely and the staff are super friendly and helpful! Located in the centre of Kilkenny therefore you can just walk out to all the places of interest and the shops. Car parking is opposite in the Ormonde street car park! Perfect!"
"Fantastic service! Hotel was spotlessly clean and had sanitiser everywhere. Staff were excellent. Particular mention to Lisa who was lovely and we had a nice chat. Will definitely stay next time in Kilkenny"
