The Arklow Bay Hotel Celebrates receiving their 4* Classification.

The Arklow Bay Hotel a Select Hotels of Ireland Member Property received the wonderful news that they have been accredited with a Four Star classification from Failte Ireland on the 3rd of February. Proprietors William & Audrey Hudson, the Management and the entire team of the hotel are so proud of the achievement.
Over the past year William Hudson has invested heavily in upgrading the hotel bringing it up to the standard required for this accreditation! It is the companies aim to create one of the finest Four-Star venues that County Wicklow has to offer. It’s been an enduring and exciting process for the entire establishment, the entire team were driven towards the same goal and everyone in the hotel came together, which the owners Mr & Mrs Hudson truly appreciate. This year alone the hotel has achieved silver in the ISIA at the National accommodation services awards and we have completed a service excellence training with Failte Ireland. The Arklow Bay Hotel Wedding Co-ordinator Eimear O’Brien was nominated for Wedding Co-ordinator of the year 2019 and we are one of the finalists for “Leinster Wedding Venue of the Year 2020”.
The Hudson family purchased the Hotel in April 2014, saving all the local jobs and keeping the Hotel within the local community. The family employs over 110 staff and support the local community with helping with organising various events as well as providing sponsorship to local charities and clubs. This is a great boost for Arklow Town itself as it will have a ripple affect in boosting the local tourist attractions.
