Kenmare Bay Diving centre
Kenmare Bay Diving centre is 25-30 mins drive from the hotel. Daily beginner's session. This three hour try-a-dive programme consists of a short diving theory lesson followed by a boat trip to a lagoon and your first shallow water dive accompanied by your instructor

Arts & Crafts
Kenmare Lace Design Centre
In 1864 the Poor Clare nuns under the leadership of Mother Abbess O'Hagan set upon a practical course to help the needy to help themselves, by establishing an industrial school in the convent building. There, young girls were chiefly employed in producing lace. The tradition of making the beautiful Kenmare Needlepoint lace is still carried out today in the Kenmare Lace and Design Centre. There is an Exhibition of antique lace from the convent as well as demonstrations. Lace and materials can be purchased.

Bonane Heritage Park
Just 10 minutes from Kenmare town, the Bonane Heritage Park offers an abundance of well preserved multi-period archaeological sites from the Stone, Bronze and Iron Age; together with a 1600 metre walk (offering breath taking scenery) through 5000 years of history.

If you are looking for a treat, head out to Bonane to Lorge Choclatier. Benoit Lorge makes the most delicious hand made chocolates. Originally from Lorraine in France and now settled in Kenmare, this award winning chef has created a chocolate lovers paradise. Located about 5km from Kenmare in Bonane this is well worth a visit.
