Hotel Minella Clonmel is nestled between the Comeragh Mountains and the River Suir in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. The original Georgian house was built by the Malcomsoms in 1863, and the Minella was opened as a hotel by Mr & Mrs Jack Nallen in 1963. The Hotel is 4**** and has an AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence for the last 10 years. Clonmel is the Home of Tipperary food Producers and the Hotel Minella features an array of local produce on its menus. 90 bedrooms including 2 suites with private Hot Tubs on the balconies overlooking the River Suir. Conference and Banqueting for up to 650 persons. Club Minella has a 20-meter indoor swimming pool, outdoor hot tub overlooking the River Suir, sauna, Steam room, Jacuzzi and Aerobics room. Treatments are also available. The Nallen Family also have Minella racing stables and breed and train all the MINELLA horses.
Hotel Minella offers some new and exciting Minella Racing Packages, guests have the opportunity to spend a morning at Minella Racing Stables, the original home of Cheltenham Gold Cup Winner Minella Indo & Aintree Grand National Winner Minella Times. Both of these horse along with so many more successful horses were bought as foals and trained by John Nallen, proprietor of Hotel Minella.
